The Visit to BRAC
We visited the World's largest NGO (non-governmental organisation) on Wednesday. BRAC (Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee) has been helping Bangladeshi people overcome challenges since 1972. We were interested to find out about how they help people become employed, or to set up small businesses. We were due to visit their large handicrafts complex in Manikganj, but it didn't work out. Instead, we visited their Diary Plant and Nursery in Gazipur. How did the trip help us with this Unit of Inquiry? Make comments to answer.
